DP Experience
- 34 years’ experience on DP vessels and shore-based DP vessel support and training.
- DP Experience on Diving, deepwater drill ships, Supply, ROV, Construction, etc.
- Master of Anchor handling and Towing vessels.
Auditing and Training
- DP Master, DP Training captain and assessor.
- Part of the Tidewater global DP Incident investigation team from March 2012 to date.
- Tidewater representative for FMEA trials, Annual DP trials, DP Audits, from 2010 to 2022.
- Lead Auditor for ISO:9001
- Lead Auditor for International Safety Management (ISM)
- Set up five Nautical Institute accredited DP Training centres.
- NI DP Instructor approved for all courses from 2010 to date.
- Wartsila approved Instructor for NI DP Hardware & Software courses.
Nautical Institute Support
- Nautical Institute DP TEG from April 2013 to date – DP Technical representative for ISOA.
- Member of all Nautical Institute workgroups for courses and standards since April 2013.
- Nautical Institute DP Technical support (voluntary)
- Voluntary work with Nautical Institute to support the training of new Deck and Technical staff and shore-based staff.
