The GenSan Training Center is an online learning platform that provides training and educational resources related to Dynamic Positioning (DP), maritime operations, and related industry topics.
Is the training free?
Yes. Registration and access to the available courses are completely free.
How do I register?
Simply click the Registration button and complete the registration form with your details. Once your account is created, our team will review your registration and assign the appropriate course(s) to your account.
Why can't I see any courses after registering?
Courses are manually assigned after registration. Please allow some time for our team to process your account. You will gain access once the courses have been assigned.
How will I know when a course has been assigned to me?
You can log in to your account and check your dashboard. You may also receive an email notification when courses are assigned.
Who can register for the courses?
Our courses are open to:
- DP Operators (DPOs)
- Deck Officers
- Marine Engineers
- ETOs
- Cadets
- Shore-based personnel
- Maritime professionals
- Anyone interested in learning about Dynamic Positioning
What is Dynamic Positioning (DP)?
Dynamic Positioning is a computer-controlled system used on vessels to automatically maintain a vessel's position and heading using its own propellers and thrusters.
Do I need previous DP experience?
No. Some courses are suitable for beginners, while others are designed for experienced maritime professionals.
Can I access the courses on my mobile phone?
Yes. The training platform is accessible on desktops, laptops, tablets, and most mobile devices.
Can I study at my own pace?
Yes. You can access the course materials anytime and learn at your own pace.
Will I receive a certificate?
Certificate availability depends on the specific course. Please check the course details for information regarding certificates or completion recognition.

How Long Will I Have Access To The Course?
Once a course has been assigned to your account, you will have lifetime access, including future updates and additional course materials. You can log in anytime to review lessons and resources.
